Getting the best value for money
When phoning around for quotes for your servicing or cam belt does the price give you everything you need or just the least they can get away with? TC Garage is not the 'cheapest' garage around, however, what you are getting for your money when compared to our competitors is infact better value. TC Garage includes all these extra bits which are also prone to failure and need replacement at the same time.
- In addition to replacing the cambelt it is equally important to replace all tensioners, idle rollers and associated parts, as these are just as prone to wear and failure as the belt itself.
- On most late VAG vehicles the cambelt also drives the water pump, which itself is prone to failing. Therefore, where applicable all our quotes include a replacement water pump, new G12 antifreeze and labour.
- On both petrol and diesel V6 engines the coolant thermostat which is situated behind the cambelt, is also replaced.
- Auxiliary drive belts do not have a specific replacement interval so are usually replaced at the same time as the cambelt.
- All our quotes include auxiliary belt(s). Auxiliary belt tensioners will also be checked during belt replacement and replaced if necessary at additional cost.
- All cambelt parts used are genuine Volkswagen & Audi Group parts.
